Complaint Forms in 300 Mini Post Offices

PUTRAJAYA, 17 December 2013 - The Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) established a strategic partnership with Pos Malaysia via placing Complaints Form in 300 post offices and mini post offices across the country. The program was launched by the Minister in Prime Minister’s Department, Senator Datuk Paul Low Seng Kuan here today.


The Chief Operations Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad’s One-Stop Solutions, Dato’ Mearia Hamzah also graced the event that was attended by PCB officers, Pos Malaysia officials and the members of media.


The Minister congratulated the PCB and Pos Malaysia for embarking on this project. The collaboration is deemed as a successful implementation of the National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS). The joint effort by both parties by this initiative focuses on providing a proper communication channel for those who are in the rural to interact with the government. By placing complaints forms in 300 mini post offices, people from all walks of life are provided with a platform to voice their complaints and dissatisfactions to be taken appropriate action by the government.


This partnership is another step by the PCB to enhance the public service delivery is accordance with the Chief Secretary to the Government's call to ‘Humanize the Civil Service’.


The   PCB hopes that this effort will bring about significant changes in further improving the public service delivery across agencies. The role of PCB will also   be elevated to monitoring public complaints management by the government agencies.
